Here We Go Kyoto & Day Trip to Nara Park.

Kyoto Japan had lots of sights to offer, and we tried to see them all. Just kidding, but we did see a lot. We started by taking a bus to visit the Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion) whose top two floors are covered in gold leaf, then walked to the Ryoan-ji Temple, which is Japan’s most famous Karesansui (Zen) Garden, followed by another bus ride to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and finally a train ride to the Fushimi Inari Taisha: A thousand vermillion gates

(10,000 Torii Gates) - all in one day! We were exhausted by the end of the day.

The next day we took a train to Nara Park where Mia feed some deer, we visited the amazing Todai-ji Temple, which was originally founded during the Nara period (710-784), and houses a 50 foot Buddha, and experiences a samurai and ninja museum.

Being from the young United States, the historical architecture, monuments, and artifacts of other nations create awe within me. I feel lucky and fortunate to have the opportunity and privilege of visiting such places.
