Heck Yeah! Cairns, Australia 🇦🇺

We finally made it to Australia. It only took four flights, including one all nighter from Perth to Cairns. Once we got to the NRMA Holiday Park bungalow we rented , we slept from 7am-noon! After being in Nepal for a month, Australia feels so easy. We can drink and rinse our toothbrushes with the tap water, open our mouths in the shower, and follow implemented traffic laws. However, the oceans in the north are too dangerous to swim in due to stingers (a sweet name given to their killer jellyfish), crocodiles, and sharks. Luckily, they have created lagoons/pools for swimming. There’s a colony of fruit bats outside the NRMA, which delight us to no end. And the birds. So many birds! We spent one day snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, which was amazing.
