Since illness thwarted us from the Everest Basecamp Trek, we decided to embark on the 9 day Langtang Valley Trek, which is known to be more culturally rich than the EBC. On the trek, I wished I could pop my eyeballs out and loan them to you, so you could see the beauty of our surroundings and majesty of the mountains. The trek wasn’t without problems tho. Mia puked, I got diarrhea, and it rained heavily for three days at the end of our trek causing our easy, downhill hike out to become uphill, dangerous, difficult, and long. We had to avoid landslides where the trail washed away and landslides happening as we hiked. Luckily, Hari our guide and Shiva, Mia’s porter, got us back safely.

Just caught up. Australia looks nice, too. I love fruit bats. Thoroughly enjoying your blog and wishing you continued great adventures!
Oh my goodness. The Langtang trek looks incredible, majestic, gorgeous. Seeing your photos makes me want to go. I'm not sure I could manage the altitude (nor the downhills on my knees) but now I am tempted. :) (Eva on Bothin)
